The previous owners left 3 boxes of those panels used for drop ceilings in the attic.  You know the ones, white texture that you see with about 1/2" of fiberglass insulation on the back side.  My roof doesn't have any insulation between the rafters.  I was wondering if I could use the panels for insulation.  If so, how would you install them?

Your roof does not have insulation between the rafters because it does not need it. You insulate living spaces, so your attic floor is most likely insulated to keep the heat in the rooms below. You usually do not want to insulate the roof against the plywood, there should be an air space between the plywood and insulation to prolong your roof's life.
