$1150

What do you guys think?

Not a bad price, given the current craze.

I think you can get one for $850: in stock

I want one bad, don't buy them all.

I'd buy one, if I had the cash.

Get a Skorpion too.

Meh. It's the cats meow in 7.62x39 (after the XCR), but I would just get a WASR and then tac it out..

Cool gun, but a bit overpriced for me.

If they were $500 I'd say good buy.

Thanks for your Input

"You Snooze, You Loose", I knew I should of bought one before the Election

Do you mean the price or the weapon?

The price isn't terrible....not the greatest, but given the recent panic...

The weapon itself is a neat little rifle. The trigger takes some getting used to, but once you do it's plenty accurate.

I've got one, its made from original FA parts even. All for the tidy sum of $500 out the door with 3 mags, a sling, cleaning kit, and mag holder.

The real ones are real nice on semi, horrid on auto though, they are wayyyy too light for auto.

I would get one of they took regular AK mags.

I just noticed that the pic doesn't have a threaded muzzle, that's odd as mine does. Must be a different manufacturer, but I like the idea of threads for a muzzle brake.

It has to have a perminately attached break to make it over 16" in the US

I love mine, compared to a AK:

Lighter
Way better ergonomics
better accuracy
Can be a fixed stock or folder, receiver is the same, it's an easy one screw changeout.
Mags are lighter, CDNN has them for $20 each
Really nice build quality+ milled receiver.

Get one, prices have not climbed on these yet.

BTW I found the folder pivot point is chrome plated, nice touch.

+1

Saw them rattle themselves apart overseas- it was the first unreliable AK-family weapon I had personal experience with.

It's not an AK family weapon...

the mags are gay, and there's no way to modify it for AK mags.

I'm very happy with the one I built using an OOW reciever and parts kit. OOW supplies all the parts you need to do the job including the barrel extention you need to make it legal length.

Love mine (CZ-USA "military" model).  Need to buy more mags though.
Vz > AK imho.  If for some reason I was limited to keeping just one 7.62x39 rifle the AKs & SKSs go, the Vz stays.

If only the Czechs made a version in 5.45............

Great Gun!  Love mine!  $850 is about as good a price as you will get currenty.  RGuns advertises them lower (CAI Sporter) but I think there actual price is in line with everyone else.

Have always found them interesting, but not enough for what they go for. Would rather have a really nice AK.

Yep, that is the way I look at it.
Rather than that, I would rather get a Bulgarian AK.
But hey, it is all about diversity these days, and I am just fine with that when it comes to firearms.

Its a bit different animal.  I have 2 7.62X39 AKs, the VZ is more accurate than both with the same ammo, it is also noticably lighter.  The Gas system is interesting as well, not many like it, similar to a piston AR.

Mag can be had under $20 per even now.  I have 8 spares at a total cost thus far of about $105.

Look out!

The Rguns model is a SINGLE STACK 10 rd rifle.  It comes directly from the Czech republic so it has to be limited to 10 rounds. The hi-cap models are modded here with the 922r parts.
