Trafalgar Tours in the UK? That pub was our last stop for tea----husband and I opted for a pint instead |
Yes, very nice photos. What kind of camera were you using? |
Most of them (except Havasu Falls and Carlsbad Caverns, which were done with a Sony F707) were done with Canon DSLRs. The earlier ones I took with a Digital Rebel, then a 10D, and the rest are with the 30D, 5D and 40D. |
Wish I could afford a Canon DSLR. Lucky! I've used a friend's Canon 20D and that thing is awesome. For now I'm using a Canon S2 IS. I uses a DSLR processor, and has good zoom, and image quality is OK. It's 5 mega pixels though which was good at the time I got it (after it came out) but it's a little low in todays market. www.dpreview.com/reviews/compare_post.asp?cameras=canon_s2is&method=sidebyside It takes decent video though (surprisingly good sound). I like that. |
Look around online...you can get killer deals on the Rebel XT now that the XSi is coming out. |
+1 on the Rebel XT. I got one 3 years ago and I'm still happy with it. |
Ah, memories. It's been more than 15 years since I was in Hawaii. Wish I could afford to take the family there for a trip. |
Is that last picture Hanauma Bay? I went there a few years ago. I loved it. |

near Camp Perry, OH. The mosquitoes and skunks welcomed us at this campground. (This is not our idea of camping, BTW, It was cheaper than a hotel) (We stayed in tents, and this was our view from our "camp site".)
