I have a question regarding Vector Arms V-53 pistol. Would it be illegal to put a retractable stock on one. The way its made now it is considered a pistol so no ATF stamp needed. What are the rules for putting on a Retractable stock. Does this make it a SBR?

virgin rec = pistol

stock after the fact = sbr

no tax stamp for that sbr = bad
