The hippies are mostly all, unsurprisingly, clustered around UVM in Burlington. UVM (Burlington) is populated to a large degree by retarded 18 year old kids from other states. The real Vermonters are too few to counteract their numbers. We are no match for their derp. |

And clustered around Brattleboro, Montpeculiar, etc. Some good people out in the sticks but the state's suffered for all the NYC types who now call themselves "Vermonters." ![]() |

Your're dead to me This is not a surprise....VT is solidly blue. It's easy to be open-minded and liberal if everyone is just like you. They assume that those that are "diverse" from themselves hold the same values (WRONG!!). Same problem in Scandinavia. Nobody is robbing them, stealing their stuff or raping their women. They don't have the frame of reference of the rest of the country. Visit sometime. Book a hunt there or something. Life gets REAL SLOW. Everybody knows and trusts everybody, because they all have the same values. |

New Hampshire too? Fucking seriously??? I am literally sick to my stomach. Fuckin bullshit. With all the Romney signs up all over the place?? Only 5% reporting-don't get pissed at us yet I flipped out untill I started reading the bottom of the screen. How the fuck can they base wether some one won or not on "1% of voting reported"?!?!?! I will apologize for my previous outburst, but it still blows my mind |

I will apologize for my previous outburst, but it still blows my mind I hear ya brother. They are only showing results from the bluest counties so far, so I'm hopeful. With all the phone work I've done over the past few months I'll be pretty upset if it's all for not... Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

This is the truth.
My son goes to school out there and in Burlington all they do is want to party and drink. He says the true Vermont people are cool as hell and enjoys talking to them. Quoted:

I got quite a shock in Montpelier, the state capital, a couple of years ago.
I checked into my hotel, turned on the TV, and was greeted with Al Jazeera TV. Wow.......OK. Next morning went to get a cup of coffee a short walk from the State House at a place called "Capital Grounds". I'm standing in line and notice the walls covered in framed newspaper articles about anti-American protests in Iran. Somebody was so excited about burning American flags they felt the need to frame the stories and hang on the wall for all to see. I looked around and noticed pictures on all the walls of life in Iran. Not so bad until I went to get some cream and saw the largest picture of all in an ornate frame. It was the Ayatollah's shrine.
On a good note......I was at a Sunoco (somewhere in VT, think might have been Colchester area) and saw it was also a gun store, named something like "Bob's Gas and Guns". |
