I am in need of some info on the smart start system offered by viper. I currently have an older Dei remote start that is simply used to start the truck and lock/unlock doors. It chirps the factory security when locked twice also. I know I am not compatable but want to get the smart start installed into my truck, the website is not being very clear in the components I will need and the links to the owners manuals are not working. Anyone have any insight on this system, or place I can go for install instructions/operations? |

I picked up a smartStart and a compatible remote start system from Amazon for both our cars. Love it. I have a buddy do the installs. Took about 1/2 a day on each car.
Here's a list of compatible remote start systems I was under the impression that the combo unit with a new remote start system and the Smart Start module was only sold by Best Buy....but I could be wrong. |
