What's the general consensus on Vortex optics?  I need a scope for a 77/22, and have a chance to pick up a Vortex Diamondback 4-12x40 with their BDC(?) reticle.  Scope is in mint condition, would it be worth dropping $150-175 on with a Burris M-223 AR mount?

I like them.

I have a Vortex Strikefire on one of my AR's and I have a Vortex HS-T 6-24x50 on order for one of my long range bolt guns.

Hmmm, off to find the forum now...

Anyone tried the M223 Burris mount?  Not sure what I will do with it, I've always used LaRue SPR mounts.

I have a Vortex Sparc II and like it a lot. It's a very good budget red dot sight.

Love Vortex.

I have the PST 6-24x50 FFP and it is one of the nicest scopes I have ever seen for less than $1k.

Very good products for the money.
