Ralph Nader is running again this year.  If, on election day, the polls show McCain going down in flames we should vote for Nader and ensure he's a viable candidate in 2012 so he can suck votes away from the Dem candidate.  His being around helped a lot in 2004.

In the spririt of "voting for Nader", I will vote for Optimus Prime, as long as he has the Keebler Elves in his cabinet.

well if you want Nobama to win then go a head of voting for a person who will not win. Vote for someone who actually has a good chance of winning.

Got no problem throwing either Nader, Mckinney or Sheehan a few bucks during the early stages of their candidacy, just to give the Dems fits. However, I can't imagine a situation where McCain would be such a lost cause that it would make sense to vote Moonbat in the general election...

Too late (not that I would anyway), the wife and I already voted absentee ballot: McCain/ Palin 08.

Wow, I didn't expect that response.  Nader pulled votes from Kerry and he'll keep running as long as he thinks anyone still likes him.  Like I said, IF McCain is far behind in the polls why not encourage a Democratic spoiler?

A lot of Republicans switched sides and voted for Hillary to keep the Democrats in turmoil during the primary - I'm only suggesting the same sort of thing for the general election with an eye on the future.

Totally different situations.  And there is no future for Nader.  He isn't even enough of a serious candidate that the Dems are worried about him siphoning votes from Obama.

Might as well write in David Duke.  As least he has something in common with Nader.
