Can't get it to work. You???? |
Sounds like it might be something like this: Comcast Blocks Google Vince and Wankie first noticed that Comcast subscribers in Southern New Jersey connecting from from 68.45.xx.xx have been blocked from using Google. The block was instated because someone from the subnet apparently violated Google's Terms of Service by sending automated search queries. There's no word when service will be restored to the affected users. Update: As of 1 AM EST, Google's sorted out the problem and the affected users can access Google again. There are tons of articles about this type of activity and whining between Google and Comcast. googlewatch.eweek.com/content/archive/comcast_denying_access_to_google_sites_in_massachusetts.html I heard that there are a bunch of Denial of Service attacks against Micron and Novell that use the subnets in happy valley. They won't tell you about this unless you call Comcast customer service. Might go away soon and could take a while. |
I thought Goatboy may have brought down the wrong server. |
