"Kick Brass" ??  Wow, . . . really marketing the younger crowd eh ?  Old man Wally doesn't sell any firearms here in the great state of Illinois . . . and by great state, I mean politically corrupt shithole.

Yeah, Bass Pro started selling AR's  say, in the last 6 months. I guess the big wigs at corporate finally accepted the fact that the "black rifle" market is legit and here to stay. Not to mention the loss of sales by not selling them. They could've done much better than "CAA" for the accesories thoguh.....
I guess its a start

There's a catalog behind the counter they can order from but you have to ask and hope not to get a dummy helping you.

Most W*Ms here sell firearms, but I haven't noticed an AR variant (camo hunting style or otherwise) yet.

I've never been tempted to buy one of those but, if they sell them at a below-average price like they do some of their high-volume firearms, I might consider it...

About 25 years ago a Walmart by my house would order anything you wanted. Just bring in a shotgun news and order. They sold pistols too.

I've seen in the last few years and extremely extensive special-order catalog online for firearms from wally world.  There were TONS of
things available.  Not much you'd call "tactical" really, but a ton of guns.

Just a few years ago, all the walmarts got rid of all their guns.

It'd be awsome for them to make their debut with some ARs and what the hell, AKs.

If it is a real AR, then we should all benefit as Wal Mart will usually force prices down.

Has their selection of ammo gotten any better? Everyone isn't looking for that magical box of .30-30.

The walmart in my hometown hasn't had anything but a reAlly crappy ammo selection for years, but the walmart in my new town has a great ammo case, and a rack full of muzzle loaders. Not much but it's a start for sure.

Yes they had an article earlier this year about Walmart trying to combat lower sales numbers.  The big changes were more selection and bringing back guns to stores the took them out of.
