Passed by the ammo clearance at Walmart and they had Winchester white box 9mm fmj for $5 a box of 50. Only had 4 boxes. Good stuff for plinking at the camp.

Didnt notice anything here other than #7 and 8 shotshells yesterday.

Walmart also had Winchester 9mm 147gr silver tips for $15 a box of 50. Never shot silver tips in any of my pistols but I may pick up a box to try out. I want to get away from the 20 ct box pay for the latest and greatest rounds and those silver tips would give me more pratice shooting with the round that I will carry. Also had Federal classic 115gr jhp for $13 a box of 50.

They keep pistol ammo locked up behind the counter.
Actually I think they keep everything but shotshells locked behind the counter.

The ammo was locked up in a clear display case. The regular ammo can be seen by looking at the counter from the opposite side. More pain in the rectum to see the prices on regular ammo.I also notice that ammo prices from store to store were diffrent.

I'v been buying the value packs of 100 for 9mm FMJ - WWB - I think they are $10-$12 per hundred here and no sales tax
