Upon doing some research, I discovered the drop in price was due to their take over of TimeWarner a couple years ago. I want to keep an eye out for this "new" endeavor. While at the same time trying to keep an eye on AT&T to see how low she goes.

I figured 30% in two days was enough for me.  I really thought the FOMO would have died by now.

they have a couple of prototypes, zero revenue!

Truth! Most of it makes little sense. Dwac was over $160 with nothing but news. I pick what looks good and throw money at it.

Seems almost all the IPO's do this, if I were in RIVN I'd be thinking hard about profits right now (taking them that is)!

Think a lot of us could use a rewind to when MVIS went $28.

Right in the feels!!  I'd be significantly more wealthy if I had sold then.

Speaking of, I sold off my entire DPLS stake.  I'm still very bullish on the company and will buy more when the price comes back down.  Taking profits.

T is in process of divesting Time Warner and reducing their dividend to about 40-50% of what it is now.  T shareholders will get shares of the newco though.  So, you have a ton of uncertainty here thus the depressed share price.  I am holding it, since have been in it for the long term and I think eventually it will stabilize.

If you look at the chart for Discovery, there was a HUGE pump right before the May announcement. As if insiders were taking profits before the merger. Then it dropped like a rock. After the May announcement, it dropped even more.
AT&T dropped by nearly 50% in May as well. I'm going to keep an eye on these.

You seem....familiar.

Either way, we are at maybe what seems to be the superbowl of Lidar conferences for two days now. We haven't heard a peep from anyone at MVIS.

Since their inception, DVN Lidar Conferences have quickly become the must-go technical congress to see and hear all about the latest innovations amidst the galloping growth of the automotive lidar sector

Made a quick $500.00 in under 24 hours on RIVN.

Bought 25 shares for $145 yesterday and just sold today at $165.

I wish I would have increased my $85 order last Wednesday to the opening price of $106 that day.

But, I made money so it’s cool.  :)

Looking pretty good, similar to OXLC and XFLT all in the same space

Eagle Point Credit (NYSE:ECC): Q3 NII of $0.39 vs $0.32 in prior quarter
NAV per common share of $13.98 as of September 30, 2021, up 8% from $12.97 as of June 30, 2021

NAV per common share is estimated to be between $14.23 and $14.33 as of October 31, 2021.
We generated NII and realized capital gains of $0.39 per common share, well in excess of our common distributions paid during the quarter. Further, given the strength of our portfolio’s performance throughout the year and our expectation that 2021 taxable income will significantly exceed our common distributions for the year, we were very pleased to declare a special distribution to common shareholders of $0.50 per share earlier today.” said CEO Thomas Majewski

I didn't read about that when I purchased, only looked for a high dividend stock that had a major pullback due to the market response to covid. I'm holding as well. I don't have many dividend stocks but it's nice to get something out of them even with drop in share price.

I think you'll make out ok, theory is you can sell your shares of the newco to make up some for the reduced dividends.  You might want to look at MO and BTI if you are accumulating dividend payers.  That is my game, as soon as I can replace most of my income I will be out of the other game.
