I started it the day I started working from home, and had to shave it on the 18th for the return to the worksite. It started getting glorious. I wish I could have let it grow to the end of MVIS with you! I posted pictures of it the day before shaving. |

I need $7.50 a share to make a million profit. Will it do that? My dream price is a sale at a billion which nets me about $13.5 a share. That would give me nearly $2m in profits. More importantly, from my brokerage account after taxes and tithes, it would pay for my rising senior's college, pay off my house, buy a nice used SUV to replace the wife's aged minivan and give me enough to replace the firearms I sold to help pay for college for my son. If things went south badly and I lost everything, I would lose about $46k of IRA money. Not insignificant, but I would recover. But I don't see that it could go to $0 pps so my potential loss is some unknown number less than $46k. So the question is pretty basic.... Would you pay $46k or less given these circumstances with the company for a shot at 1-2 million in profits? (Not to mention the change of life that money would bring). I said yes. So that makes me the dumbest human being to ever walk the planet or something else. I am hoping for something else. |

View Quote i'd love to see you get it. i have a much smaller stake in the company but would make a nice $ boost. you're right, recovering from a 46k loss would suck, but doable. but you gotta pay to get in the dance. i understand totally. |

So with all the speculation, who do you think is wanting to merge or buy MVIS? I think its Texas Instruments.
TXN Stock is $116 right now. |

I only invested because I misread Osprey61's post. I thought he said he WORKED for Microvision for 14 years. Turns out when he says "a company I've been in for 14 years" he meant as an investor. I would have probably not even bothered with due diligence had I read that right. So that is how I know this will pay off. Accidental millionaire is just too great of a story. |

At an even billion, the price per share is just over seven bucks. Two billion to get to $14 per share, unless I'm not understanding (always a possibility, I'm numerically challenged). |

Yep in all of this hubbub I had a calc off. $7 per billion. The net operating loss is $600m without any value to the company's assets or IP NOR any bidding situations that arise is worth $4-5 by itself I have been mentally stuck on $7.50 as that magic number that keeps popping into my head. I'd love to see some surprise news that catches the shorts and drives it to like $14 or so. I'm a dreamer. If it goes for $3.50 I've still made more bank than I could ever have on etf's and mutual funds. Crazy....the thought I am one after hour or premarket announcement from possibly being a millionaire. Crazy just being positioned to have it happen. |

Still sitting at a bit over 900 shares at a .97 average. I'd be perfectly happy to double my money and get out. I'm not in it long term, just want to buy an MP5
