There is enough chatter that apparently I had to be briefed at work that INCELs are planning to use the new Joker movie for an Aurora type mass theater shooting. I guess they resonate enough with the Joker that it's a great platform to sling hot 5.56 rounds into Stacy and Chad on their movie date while laughing at the poor INCEL character on screen. I've not seen the film yet but I hear it has one scene of a graphic headshot person and it's more like in "the deer Hunter" vs a quick cutaway like in "the dark Knight".
Someone made the comment and I like it : "Original joker gets tossed in chemical vat to become Joker... 2019 Joker just gets tossed into society to become Joker".

I’ve checked up on several Joker fanatics to compare their opinions of the film and only one had some issues with the movie but even that guy said it’s a film worth seeing. All the others said the film maintained the Comic Book Joker’s history by the third act. I could elaborate but I’d have to go into spoilers. The first act will seem tedious and boring to most movie goers. It really doesn’t pick up the pace until half way into the movie and Todd Phillips cut 25 minutes out of the film Dude, it ain't the Joker in any way, shape, or form. It may still be a well-made movie though, but ain't about the Joker, or anything really. |
