I am planning on buying one of the apartment sized stackable washer/dryer combos. I can't tell for sure, but it looks like these just use a standard three prong outlet. Is this correct, or do I need a special outlet for it? Thanks!

The ones that Sears sells require a 3-wire 30A 220V outlet.

I just looked, and the apartment-sized washer and separate dryer we bought from Sears both have standard 120V plugs.  We didn't have a 240V outlet in the room so we has to buy the apartment-sized ones that use 120V.  They're two smaller than normal separate units.z

Correction: That appears to be for the "Super-Capacity" models only. The "Space Saver" models appear to be 120V-only.
