Can we get one?  There are plenty of watch people here.  It would be great to get watch threads out of GD so we don't get the same BS "use your cell phone for time" or "a $20 Timex tells the same time" responses.  I bet a Watch forum would get more traffic than a lot of the other obscure sub forums.

We already have one. It's right next to the cufflink section in the metrosexual accoutrement forum.
Between GD and the various technical gear sections I think we have watches covered already.
You really can't narrow-cast at Arfcom, you'll always get more input in GD, you just have to filter it.
I'm in a snapcap thread that already has a "who uses snapcaps???" reply.

A watch forum would be a twelve man circle jerk that 90% of the members here wouldn't even know existed.
Start a blog if you dig watches so much or post your questions in Armory/Misc/Tactical Gear or Outdoors/Survival/Survival Gear.

Ok so we have the Humidor, Sports Talk and Books for forums.  Does your "advice" go for those as well?

I don't need to start a blog and I have no questions to ask.  I suggested it for the peope who do and people who want to talk about watches.  Tactical gear and survival gear cover Casio G shock or luminox.  Those aren't the place to be talking about IWC, Omega, Rolex, Patek, etc.

As for your retarede metrosexual comment.  It's exactly that type of nonsense a dedicated forum would avoid.

Use your I Phone

Seems like a watch forum would get as much/more traffic than the cigar forum and books forum

I don't have an Iphone.  I have a device designed for business, not hipsters and teeneage girls.

There was a watch thread kicking around in GD just yesterday.
Avail yourself but if you're going to idolize expensive jewellery then you'll need to understand other peoples judgements about that predilection.
Post a picture of your Rolex and a reply of "Nice watch, my Timex is more accurate and more water resistant." is a valid reply.
We have a lot of men here who shave, maybe we can have a "Facial Hair and Grooming" technical forum.

BTW, are Rolex's and Omegas no longer rugged sailing, diving, aviator and astronaut watches?
If they're not, then they are merely adornment. If they are, then they are most certainly "gear".
