Please do not mark police officers.
Been doing a lot of driving today and started marking all the ones I see as not there. Figured in this political climate it's better to keep them safe than worry about speed traps. God bless and stay safe y'all |

God bless and stay safe y'all I can appreciate the sentiment, but if someone was looking to ambush a cop, Waze would be pretty much completely worthless. In fact, I would say a potential Ambusher driving around staring at his phone would be useless compared to watching major intersections or areas near a police station, or the old standby of calling in a fake report. |

when I see them marked and get there, they are not even there. When someone marks something on Waze it stays there for up to 30 minutes or until it is marked not there. If some one says it still is there it extends the clock. Someone marks a cop then 5 minutes later he catches someone speeding so he takes off. Then you drive past and don't see him. |

Gee, I don't think cops standing on the route of a protest thought their presence at the intersection of a protest march were dangerous either. Turns out they were an exposed target by someone who used that to their advantage. You want links to the recent shootings in the last 2 days of cops that appear targeted? You want links to the various news stories that have information about the spike in threats to kill cops since these three incidents happened? Maybe wonder into some of the GD threads that often have the threats or posts of support for doing such things from social media posted in the threads? Posted by non-Leo members. So BLM, agitated SJW's and spoiled attention seeking skin bags can post about killing cops or supporting it, which actually is spiking right now. Someone posting about maybe not using Waze for a bit in light of what is going on is met with the above posts and your response. 
Guess in light of what is going on we know which way your thought process leans. Is there a march near you that you can attend? |
