| Well, when you think about it, the Brown Bess and Kentucky rifles used during the Revolutionary War would be considered "Weapons of War" by the progressive, marxist left's logic. Isn't it comical, though, that they use these same muskets in their arguments about the 2A? |
| Personal weapons (hands, fists, feet, etc.) and blunt objects (clubs, hammers, etc.) were the original "weapons of war" (before we had anything better) and the FBI's Expanded Homicide Data Table 8 attributes more homicides to each of those categories than to rifles. |

They'd show Regular Soldiers firing Burst/FA... & the guys from the 'Unit' Firing SA Controlled Pairs... I know, it was just a TV Show, but someone Advised them to do that..... As you say, it was a (fictional) TV program. Whether or not someone advised them to show regular soldiers shooting full-auto, it doesn't mean that real soldiers actually employed full-auto. A couple of years ago this topic came up on another forum. I viewed a ton of helmet cam videos, looking for instances of full-auto, carbine/rifle fire. Only found one, and it was of a spec ops guy who did a single mag dump, then resumed semi-auto firing.
Even non-US armies seem to have opted for semi-auto.

I imagine a criminal would have a difficult time accomplishing his task without shoes. Why aren't we looking at regulating footwear?
As an added bonus: soldiers all around the world wear footwear so why are we not out to regulate these foot coverings of war? How many women have to endure rape because their assailant could comfortably traverse any terrain when a stray pine cone could have ended the encounter? How many mass murders could have been stopped if only the shooter was forced to walk through broken glass and debris with bare feet? I think we can all agree on some common sense foot registration laws if only for the children. |
