Who makes a decent weather station at a reasonable price?

Something to track hi/lo temp, hi/lo barometric pressure, wind speed, humidity........................

How are the wireless units?  Where is the best place to mount your wind gauge?

I am not a meteorologist by any stretch, but would like something for the ranch.

Thx.

Davis makes some of the best equipment, but pricey.

I have an older LaCrosse wireless unit.  It's simple and it works good.

It has:

Auto time set with WWVB

Indoor and Outdoor temperatures

Barometric trends - not actual readings

Windspeed and direction

Rainfall with optional gauge.

I have a LaCrosse (WS-9035U) that does wind speed (and gusts/windchill), in/out humidity, in/out temp, min.max, barometric and weather forecasting.. I really like it, but for some reason the wind meter not working all the time these days..

there was one on ebay for $75 - suggested retail is $150ish

This is the one I will be ordering soon.

Davis is just head and shoulders above the other consumer brand stuff.

This one sells for around $355.

I just ordered this from Ambient Weather for $295 with shipping.

You have to click the link for discounted prices to get that price, otherwise you pay $355 + shipping.
