My hard drive crashed and I got it replaced and have noticed that now when I post a pic in a post when I preview it it will be full size but when I post it it will show up smaller on my screen but I have noticed on a computer at work they show full size so my ? is can I change something in my settings to make them show up fullsize or what? I have XP pro, version 2002, SP3, here are a few pics the thing that I dont like is when they show at the smaller size they are grainy looking.

THIS site now resizes pics. There is no setting you can change yet.

Most browsers auto resize images and you can just click on the image to see it full size.  But that is not what's happening on this site.

I was thinking that way also as when I got my harddrive replaced was the same time they updated the site, but as stated the pics show up fullsize on a computer at work

Is the computer at work displaying in a higher resolution?

The site will also show them full size when you edit your post... but not in the actual post.

Trying to keep the pages looking good and somewhat controlled in terms of what's being shared and posted. Site hosted images which are large will be automatically re-sized to an 800px size by the media service and compressed at a more user friendly file size. The images should lose no quality or look worse. (The original is always safe on the media server and unmodified.)

Images hosted off site and just linked in will currently be constrained to 800px width. This is a very soft restriction and possibly something removed sometime soon.
