So the question is, if a firearms accessory company had a PayPal shopping cart would that turn you off of the site? Please vote and discuss. The PayPal cart allows you to pay with a credit card even if you do not have a PayPal account.

Paypal won't accept "gun" payments fyi.... If you do send a payment to someone..better send it without any kind of mention of gun talk.... So a gun company needs to get approved first before even using paypal... Not Firearms....Firearms ACCESSORIES....like holsters or targets or the like... |

Paypal won't accept "gun" payments fyi.... Second amendment foundation uses Paypal. As does NRA. As does GOA. JPFO does not. What is PayPal’s policy on transactions that involve firearms? We don’t allow PayPal members to buy or sell any kind of firearm, whether it’s in working order or not. The same goes for certain firearm parts and ammunition. For example, using PayPal, you can’t buy or sell: Any firearm, including rifles, shotguns, and handguns, whether they’re for sport and recreation, collectibles, or curio or relic firearms. Firearm parts, including but not limited to receivers and frames, silencers, and kits designed to modify guns so that they fire automatically. High capacity magazines, multi-burst trigger activators, and camouflaging firearm containers are other items in this category. Ammunition, including propellants like gunpowder or blank ammunition; ammunition or cartridge cases; and primers, bullets, or propellant powder designed for any firearm. Stun gun sales are allowed for U.S. residents, but only if the transaction is permitted by law in both the buyer's and seller's jurisdictions. (PayPal account holders outside the U.S. can’t buy or sell stun guns.) Before they complete a sale, U.S. sellers must make sure that the transaction is legal in both locations. Related items that you can buy and sell using PayPal include paintball guns, blank guns, and air-soft guns, as long as such transactions are legal in the applicable jurisdiction. All of these items must display the markings required by law, must not be convertible to shoot a lethal projectile, and can’t include blank ammunition. |

Ridiculous. I'm not going to care. PayPal isn't actually campaigning for gun control or anything like that, they just aren't providing a gun-related service. I shop at lots of places that have nothing to do with guns. I've said it before, any money you spend just about anywhere will end up supporting anti-gun people in some way. Spiderface and all that.

The PayPal cart allows you to pay with a credit card even if you do not have a PayPal account. Probably an ignorant question, but why would the shopping cart not be generic, with payment options available after you fill the cart? I would not buy anything firearm related and use Paypal to pay for the item. Too many cases of people in the EE using Paypal to pay for gun parts, only to have their Paypal account frozen. If you are a business using Paypal and they freeze your account, how much operating capital will be tied up for an undetermined amount of time? Orders screwed up. Customers pissed off. Suppliers pissed off. Who needs it? |

Ask PayPal if they want that sort of business. I'm still confused. Why not use a generic shopping cart? What is this "PayPal shopping cart"? PP has an integrated cart with their PP Standard payment plan..Along with the new PP Here app for iphones. So it is easier cheaper and faster just to go straight PP. |
