Just got home from the funeral for Officer Jay Sheridan in Limon, CO. It was a beautiful ceremony, and hundreds and hundreds of brothers and sisters in blue were there to pay final respects and grieve. Lorraine Melgosa of Wellington Coach carried Jay on his final call in her 1867 horse-drawn caisson.
Then I fire up the computer and see we lost another sister in San Antonio. That's 5 in the last 4 days. Be safe out there, my brothers and sisters. Take good care of each other. |
