How about making clear posts? Have people suddenly lost the ability to communicate clearly these days? I'm sorry but "The petitioner was stolen last night...." tells me fuck all about the situation. |

Ok, I'm here. My interwebz was broke earlier, and I was not fixing to post any more than I had to on my iPod Touch or PDA. When I got home last night, I did not get everything out of my truck, because I had another after hours job scheduled. Well, I got too comfy on the couch and decided to put it off until morning, and did not go back out to the truck. It happened that last night was the first night in history anyone has ever come into my driveway. I must have forgot to lock the truck, as it was not broken into, but the AR was missing. We WITNESSED the perps getting into the getaway on the street in front of the house! I have never met them, but my employee who was here recognized them. Made a report and spent the day tracking them down. Tracked down one of their cell numbers and left a message explaining that they were going to be in a world of hurt if I did not get the rifle back. They called my employee and offerred to sell it to me, which I reported to the deputies. Deputies tracked down and confronted one of them (and their brother), but did not find the one holding the rifle. I may be heading out in a bit to see if the car is in any known hangouts. |

| That blows. I am glad you're making progress in getting it back. On a side note I like your tastes. I've got a pretty similar setup to that. (same optic, stock, forward grip even have a unimax green) anyways that's a hella expensive rifle to lose so I'm glad that you've got leads. |

I don't know how I can say this without sounding like an asshole... so I'll just say it. You carry all that shit on your person without fail, every day. And you shrug off locking your truck with gear in it? If your loadout is too encumbersome, it might be time to rethink KISS. Just sayin'. 24/7 Code Red ain't for everyone. Good luck on getting everything back, just be more careful next time ![]() ![]() |
| Well, the deputies now know the names of these guys, and know that they are people that they have been wanting to put away for awhile. They know where to find them, and already knocked on the door of the one who was holding the rifle. No answer, of course. They are typing up a warrant, though, and already explained to the guy's father that he can either give up the rifle and himself and get the charge knocked down to burglary, or he can make them hunt his ass down, in which case they are bringing multiple felony charges with them. They are patrolling by his whereabouts and it is just a matter of time at this point. |
