What Stocks If Any Are You Buying? (Page 39 of 41)
|
I have increased my positions in AEP and DUK in the last few days. I continue to increase my holding in utilities as a defensive response to what I perceive is a possible general downturn in the stock market. If no downturn, I still like the dividends of most utility stocks. I also took a new position in McKesson Corp. MCK. |

Sorry, I don't currently have any good response to your question as I am currently stacking cash for the very short-term, and will most likely be buying CD's or t-bills until I get a better feeling of where the markets will be heading. I am concerned about inflation, inflation, inflation. I hope someone will give you a better reply then mine, since I am just unsure of what direction the economy will take short-term. |

Basically a variety of covered call etfs. It paid what it was supposed to pay, but it ended up basically breaking even. Fidelity MMF, SCHD quality dividend, a utility fund, or something like SGOV I'd pick before JEPI/equivalent again. Good luck! |

Bought a little more QCOM MH and AIRO during the dip, maintaining my desired allocation percentage. Still been stacking SPMO, SPHQ, QQQM, VUG, VONG, and a few others to a lesser extent, like GOP, using daily autobuys. Mostly SPMO, and I cranked that autobuy up as much as I could tolerate after SPY/VOO dropped 7% from ATH. Just turned it back down to a more sustainable level last night. |

I sold a couple thousand shares of VG since I was 100% up in the last 3 months or so I'll be taking that money and putting it into SOFI under $18 and BMNR under $20 Still think we're in for a lot of pain, but someday this is going to flip and tech is going to run again. SOFI under $18 feels like a no brainer. |
Look, yes, I have banged HUNDREDS of broads. INTERNATIONALLY. But know this - I wrap my rascal, TWO TIMES, cuz I like it to be joyless and without sensation. It's a way of punishing supermodels.

https://finance.yahoo.com/markets/options/articles/sec-eliminates-25-000-pattern-050417843.html The SEC on April 14 approved FINRA's proposal to eliminate the $25,000 minimum equity requirement for pattern day traders. This removed one of the most persistent barriers to retail market participation. |

Hopefully that money is still there when you need it. I’m still buying SPMO and SPHQ everyday. Turned XLP autobuy back on today. Bought FIG and BLSH. Added a bit to my AIRO position. Been buying FXAIX with every check, too. I’ve been doing that automatically long enough that I tend to forget. CRCL, APA, XOM, CRWV, and NBIS have been killing it for me. |

It had a down trend when Iran happened but the dividends I got ended up averaging down for me. Now it is back up and although as of today i'm up 3% since January. I will hold it until I find something a little better. I don't think its bad as it does a monthly dividend but will sell when I find something better. |

I am continuing to stack cash now as some CD's I have will be maturing over the coming months. I think there will be a stock value dip in the market over the next six months, and IF I am correct I want to be ready to pick up some possible bargains. If I am wrong I will mostly miss out on 3.5% or so CD's for six months. It has been a number of years since I last made this play. It does have some risk. |

| Bought 3 CDs at 4.1% (safety reasons - I'm retired). Also bought 200 shares of NOW on the way down but not down far enough so I'm already at a hard negative on that one. Hopefully NOW comes back with a vengeance over the next month or two. |

Do I keep riding a surging Intel? Or do I find a price I am happy with to find my exit? I sort of feel the same way about most tech I hold at the moment. I just don’t see how this is sustainable, but I’ve felt that way for a while now and most keep surging. INTC up 298% AMD up 173% NVDA up 65% NXPI up 63% SNDK up 107% STX up 86% Sitting at 80.57% up on my single stock picks, and up 25.82% on VOO. |

I get my money back and I keep the shares for free. |

Over the past week, added to NFLX, SPOT, AIRO, MH, BRK.B, FIG. Still buying several broad-market ETFs daily. Whenever everything seems too high to buy, remember that the overall market spends most of the time near or at all-time highs. In light of that, it seems like one should keep buying broad market ETFs no matter what. SPHQ and SPMO always feel good to buy because the selection criteria are more strict than SP500, which I also buy near constantly. In times like this, I also buy consumer staples like XLP and RSPS, to rotate into the broader market or individual stocks during dips, averaging in and out of them in the opposite direction of sector rotation flow. I also buy a bit of VXUS constantly to diversify from my almost entirely US exposure. Currently reducing my margin by buying less than I put in each paycheck and receive in dividends. I’ll start levering up again soon. |

My brother bought CAT for 90 during the kung Flu and it is over 900. He really needs to sell some. Especially since he bought it for the dividend. He bought 100 shares and if his goal is dividends he could sell half and redeploy for a lot more income. |

I have been slowly shifting out of CDs, and now into ETF's. Recently bought VUG, VOO, SCH, and VGT. Will likely add VONG, and more VGT to "the flock". As I get older, I am starting to invest into more managed funds. With inflation increasing in my opinion, CD's aren't yielding enough to provide a reasonable return for the risk, so managed ETF's look to be a good place to store some funds at what appears currently to be a reasonable return. Guess I will find out! |

Guess I will find out! VUG and MGK rock. IMHO give MLP/their etfs a consideration. AM and MLPA is my favorite, yield on cost around 10-14% for me right now. SCHD is another good area. If a CD won't do better than SGOV or SPAXX, I ain't interested. |

It's had a good run but has been range bound between support and resistance for a while now. If I was a day/swing trader it would be a good pick. You could pick up .5% almost every day. Someone is doing it, might as well tag along. |

| Sold my KOS stock this morning. Bought it during covid at $.99/share. Sold it for $2.84. I will take that all day long. |
