It's great stuff though. Totally worth the price. I don't think you've met my agave collection. Sub, here is all of WOAFP's money. All of WOAFP'S money meet Sub. We still owe him a good dinner when he comes through Kentucky.

Unfortunately cazadores really changed their production methods and just aren't making stuff as good anymore. Fortunately there is a ton of great stuff that isn't too pricey.

The liquor stores in my area have a really sucky Tequila selection.

I need to venture out farther away or just start buying on the internet.

I made Carnitas tacos yesterday, so today (and tomorrow) I'll have leftovers.

Fortaleza Anejo, Avion 44, and G4 Extra Anejo are all on the to-do list. Once i catch a buzz, I'll switch to cheaper stuff for palomas--probably Corralego reposado.

This has nothing to do with the date, I'm just bored with bourbon.

How is Teramana? I got it in stock last week (Blanco only, reposado was and still is backordered), but haven't tried it.

The Blanco is fantastic and the reposado is just ok. Both way better than they have any right being as cheap as they are. Full props to Dwayne Johnson though. I hate celebrity tequilas because they default to some diffuser produced mass garbage. He went and had them do traditional brick ovens, copper pot stills, and wild yeast. It's exactly what I expect from brands that charge twice as much and the right way to make tequila. I hope they don't change.

I ended up in Oaxaca on Cinco de Mayo by accident a few years ago. I didn’t realize what day it was until I was already there.

I need no excuse to enjoy Mexican food and spirits. I live in a highly hispanic area and the food is great.

I really appreciate the type that love American culture. They love guns, fast cars, bbq, etc, but can bang out some mean tacos.

We use Simply Limeade all the time, when we don't want to squeeze our own.

Instead of lemonade, squeeze a wedge of fresh orange in, and some Cointreau.

I just got home, but on the way I decided to stop at the fun store.

I picked up a Bozal Espadin-Barril Ensamble.  OMG !

The last mezcal I had was in '85, sophomore in college, and it was just wretched stuff, the cheapest
stuff on the shelf at the time.

I love good tequila, but I think I'm going to switch over !

olmeca does not get the credit it deserves. proper 100% highland agave, brick oven roasted, tahona crushed, open air fermentation, and steel post still distillation. There are of course better, but definitely no better at the price.

if i'm being 100% honest, you could get better tequilas for the price. Casamigos used to be really really great tequila before the sell to diageo. diageo wanted to up profits so started using cheaper production methods, filtering, and sweetening to make it more appealing to the market, but not "better". For the price of the casamigos I would recommend el tesoro or fortaleza. For even cheaper teremana is a great option. Glad to see you enjoying something that isn't juervo gold though, so salud!
