Baseplate is on the printer now With a spring and follower....are these actually functional or not so much? Thanks! Well the metal one is stock so yes. The printed is ready for testing with follower and baseplate ready but i am having a time figuring out what to do for the spring. The factory spring is forking huuge - 3/32 thickness and not available to buy anywhere so i am looking at building a spring jig. |

Still haven't decided what is optimal there to swap out. Thanks and please keep us posted!! |

I printed some welding jigs for a DIY shop stool.
It's similar to a $600 Viper stool but half the cost. Plans, parts list and STLs are free here. A DIY Shop Stool You Can Build |

Dented. Too much lube and/or tumbling media stuck in the die. |

The wife wanted to install a bluebird house on a 3.75" round fence post. I printed up some mounting blocks so the house couldn't rock on the curved surface. The head of the top screw fits into the "T" slot of the top mount. The bottom screw passes through the center hole of the bottom mount. Same model used in both positions.

View Quote yeah this is a mash up of an older design which was a 2 part, put back together but then the locking mechanism for that was shit, so I brought in a major revision to the stock system and built my own locking mechanism for the stock. Also I modified the grip mounting block to have a better slide mechanism and created the ability to have a bolt on side plate - which turned out to be unnecessary. Then just modified everything to be able to print with no supports and voila. the whole triangle bottom support thing is not really necessary for the function of the thing but i would have had to put something there to support the grip so why not just keep it. overall its way overbuilt but slides smoothly with no flex. |

I printed some parts in ASA to mod my Thumbler's Tumbler Model B to use real bearings instead of plastic bushings.
Attached File Attached File Attached File The models and BOM are on Printables, although I just made this today - no idea how it will hold up in the long term. My original design required drilling holes in sheet metal but it for sure would have been stronger. Hoping this one will be strong enough. |

I printed this item because it was the perfect size
for my small temp temp / humidity sensor. The stand printed was printed with PLA, no supports / etc. The device is billed as a tablet stand, but works with lcd clock/temp sensor, and fits well with a Nexus class phone. Design is easel style and adjust from almost flat to nearly 90 degrees. I used the stand for phone, amazon fire HD with zero issues. As soon as my phone finishes updating 40 days+ of patches I will add a real photo. https://www.printables.com/model/376433-tablet-stand Attached File Attached File |

I didn't think to get a picture of them earlier, but I printed a ton of these little firework fuse connectors that I drew up in TinkerCad. Just a 15mm tube with a slash cut through one side. Just big enough to hold two fireworks fuses together for joining mortars and boxes. Worked like a charm with standard 3mm visco fuse.

Printed the parts from flash forge to add enclosure components to the 5M. Will add the pre-cut plexy panels from the enclosure accessory kit they sell. Still haven't unboxed the 5M but probably will pretty soon. Will be disassembling the E3 & lack enclosure to make room for it.
