I used to be in the trades, ironworker, I routinely carried a 1'6" nail puller bar under my driver's seat. I also had a two and half foot crowbar in my trunk.

"Spetnaz Shovel" (A.K.A. Old Style E-Tool)...

Sharp as a Razor and Hard as a Hammer...

Actually a Very versatile weapon...

and it is nothing more than "Just A Shovel" for digging out my 4wd at the beach so no issues having in in my truck ...

Of course a Gun is better 99% of the time, but for those "No Guns Allowed" times & places, it would make an Antifa goon into the Black Knight pretty quickly...

Golf clubs in the car, my mallet putter would be my go-to given it has a favorable weight to length ratio and is spiked on the back end.

In the truck the best improvised weapon would be a 24 inch breaker bar like several people have already posted.

It’s in my ‘01 Corolla POS daily driver.  I’m in and out of company-owned property a lot, so it’s about all I can get away with as far as a weapon is concerned.

22mm? My ‘03 Expedition is 21mm if I remember correctly, but I seldom drive it.

I'm a Rambo because I choose not to use melee weapons? Ok.

In all seriousness, defense of my family comes first so get the fuck out of ny. Keeping them fed is also my job, so if that wasn't possible, I'd do what was necessary. Maybe you are already doing that and are smart enough not to advertise it.

A Pummel Pipe.  I actually usually use it when I have to open the hood, since my struts don't hold it up anymore.  I can happily demonstrate its use in this activity, and even show the marks in the insulation/engine compartment from past use.

Years ago, just after The Texas Chainsaw Massacre came out a UNC student dressed up like Leatherface for Halloween and went running down Franklin Street with a running chainsaw that he'd removed the chain from. You really couldn't tell... He came inches from getting ventilated by the Chapel Hill police.

Nevertheless, it made a definite impression on a lot of people. As in, a huge crowd was assholes and elbows getting the Hell out of that guy's way. Good persuader.
