I hate myself for liking this watch… it is quartz for God’s sake. But it uses a largely brass movement which makes it extremely shock resistant… not plastic and cheap stamped metal. Five year battery. Shock detection so the movement temporarily freezes to prevent damage if there is a severe jolt. GMT and compass bezel that act independently. Screw down crown and quick detach bracelet. And I love the color scheme.

My rotation is a week of the core watches, a week of the German watches, then the core watches again followed by the Seikos. Then I repeat the whole process again. The rotation gets broken up depending if we are at our Ohio home or our Missouri home, by traveling and by my own whims. The automatics stay on winders unless we're traveling. People bemoan winders, but watches are made to be worn everyday, not lay in some box and be taken out once a month to be wound and set. The winder keeps them ready for immediate wear and I like watching them spin around while the little lights sparkle.  BTW, except for one 4 watch winder I use for some of the cheaper watches, all of my watches are on Wolf winders set to the recommended rotations for that movement.
