In regards to using firefox:

When I am following a thread I have posted in, the little green arrow gzmo on the forums only redirects me to the spot I posted until a new page is started. Is this a compatability issue?

Do I have something set wrong?

Does this happen to anyone else using firefox?

Should I continue to allow my wife to cut round pizzas into square slices?

I have no idea, but I'd switch to Chrome and never look back.

The more authentic pizzas are cut into squares, and are thin crust ONLY!

I'd say using Firefox is what you're doing wrong.

Chrome is much lighter and runs better.

Google made me mad so I'm not switching to chrome. The browser works fine and all, but...google

But the pizza starts out round and the thickness of the crust doesn't matter to her when blaspheming geometry like this.

She's mean and cuts pizza into squares when she shouldn't. No, the pics will destroy your soul.

Seriously, I can't fgure out why this browser does that though. It's not a total deal breaker but it is a little annoying. It seems especially bad if I post a link, pic or quote someone.

I'm not too worried about the tracking, and I think it's funny most of the time when I search for something and buy it, and then they start showing me advertisements for it!

I did read the link about Iron though, and I think I'll try it, thanks Seph.  The main reason is this:  No "Automatic address bar search suggestions."  I hate that!  I'm a network engineer, so give me a DNS error end let me retype it if it's wrong.  Don't take me on a trip to Candy Mountain!

Pizza is good no matter how you slice it too!

ETA:  Just installed SRWare Iron on the main home PC and loving it so far!  I'm giving it a couple of days and it's going on everything if it holds up.

Free bump - I really like SRWare Iron instead of Chrome so far!

Soylent, what are your thoughts on Pizza Rolls?

I asked the same question one time, and i think clearing the bookmark is the answer.

It's a link on each page, lower right.

I will keep an eye on this thread to get further reports on Iron.

I will also try the unsubscribe/resubscribe but that is just a work around for something that isn't functioning correctly.

Pizza rolls are an example of taking two perfectly good items, using them to answer a question that was never asked, and getting the answer not only incorrect but fucking wrong.

At this point Google could start charging $10 a month to use their services and I wouldn't bat an eye.

Well that didn't last long, I'm done with Iron.  Two websites that I frequently use both crash consistently with the Chrome "Aw, Snap" error page.  It's right when the pages are done loading and I suspect there's an easy fix, but I'm not wasting my time on it.

Bummer...have some square pizza to feel better

Thanks for the report though, seriously.
