Am I in before somebody defends this bullshit? They did in the comments. Â This looks like a Yeager class based on the tactical pirouette those guys were doing. That chair was going all kinds of wonky, one wrong dirt filled shell and someone's going for a ride with lights and sirens. |

Have you read the comments?? Whole lotta WTF there chris3doorsdownSee anything wrong with this? And go. load more comments the_jordan_winkler@realstarlord so you do realize that none of the 4 firearm safety rules were violated? Or at the least, you can't point to any in the video that were violated? realstarlord@the_jordan_winkler He was hitting his cardboard target until he wasn't hitting his cardboard target. Don't you think it leaves an extremely minimal room for error when training? Training is where you're okay to make mistakes and correct them. Shooting someone isn't supposed to be on that roster nor can it be taken back. michaelack79What the hell!! gigflashAbout got shot Homes! iam_novacaineYet you remained calm. How? p.w._aka_old_sargeBeen on a lot of military and civilian ranges for the past 30 yrs. I've NEVER seen a hot range used like that. That range master needs to leave his card at the gate on the way out. Very lucky there were no injuries or casualties. xtexasxrootsxLmao #trainlikeyoufight drftrainingWell...its Tactical Response...so...lowest common denominator training...and unsafe ranges...its what theyre known for falahhan_07Oh my god richbeddoeWow amazing joeyzakWhoa!! cromconsultantsIt's an extreme reach to justify this, the margin of error on a mistake is just too small, if someone had taken two minutes to sweep up a few of those shotgun shells it wouldn't be that big of a deal, dude probably could have run himself through the drill. brune_karlaThat was too dangerous. tom271_Nothing wrong here. No one was almost shot. All his shots hit his target. Get real man. I trained with @the_jordan_winkler at Tactical response and these guys opened my eyes. Best training I ever had in my life. orlyfernandezWhat in the hell.... zackapelskogWay to go tac response this is awsome roguechadYou think someone will push this guy in his chair in a real fight? Nope! Nothing gained here, bad clip of a good class. chrisleatlol @tom271 u have uneven ground .. i can see if it was a flat ground .. but you have a bumpy uneven surface... yes no one luckly wasnt shot chrisleat@shootvideos the issue is the uneven ground.. and we have no clue of his skill level... also real life ... i dont think someone would be pushing him in a gun fight toward it teresa_wilder25Hmmmm yeah everyone should be lined up evenly but the guy being pushed should not be shooting with everyone out in front of him! Very dangerous! Wow Chris you are lucky you or anyone else wasn't hurt! venomous505@ldswafford i have never played a piano, but i know that beethoven plays it wrong and i can do better than him. dukenukem_24@drftraining the name of your training company makes your comment ironic. dukenukem_24@chrisleat so you're ignoring the likely real life scenario that he will probably be on even ground and able to roll himself. But then acknowledging the likely real life scenario that he probably won't have someone to push him. So you're just molding "real life" to fit your weak argument dukenukem_24You're also ignoring the real life possibility of other people being down range and having to hit your target. Which he did. And notice he kept his hand on his wheel to replicate pushing himself and only shooting with one hand. cromconsultantsThere's a chance in real life that I might have to shoot within inches on my wife or someone else's head, so by some of you guys reasoning I should practice shooting next to her head to replicate real life..... first risk mitigation isn't a bad thing, can people get a bit stupid and stringent with it? Yeah they can, but it's also not a big deal to say, hey this wheelchair is pretty uncontrollable on this terrain, that's modify the drill slightly so we don't accidentally put a bullet in someone's back. Next making training realistic is great but it's still going to be shooting cardboard or steel, and it's ok to accept that reality, on both sides of the argument saying "in real life" is unnecessary, your practicing skills on a range in a controlled environment, your not choreographing your next fight. cromconsultantsShooting in close proximity to other people, with dudes in front or around you is something that is worth doing and should be done by serious shooters, the issue here is that the margin of error on having one guy shoot while another dude pushes his wheelchair over shotgun shells is too small, this could have easily ended badly, that's not safety sally mentality it's understanding risk vs reward. titanium1991Nothing wrong here chrisleatweak @ dukenukem_24 ... the ground isnt flat and he has no control over the shells and if he bounces left or right .. good thing for that chrisleatand you have no idea his skill level @dukenkem_24 dukenukem_24@chrisleat and neither do you. But the instructors do. I trust their opinion over yours or anyone else's. chrisleatdoesnt matter accidents happen thats why they are called accidents @dukenukem_24 dukenukem_24And by that logic no one should ever leave their house. skelleywag@reed_gabes beardsandboomsticksIt's always great when things like this come out to reaffirm where I do not go for classes. beardsandboomsticks@dash_ispy dash_ispy@beardsandboomsticks holy shit. bkizzylizzyWrong all levels bkizzylizzyNo offense to the guy in the chair but no no no dash_ispy@bronzojogr basp2005Looks like Yeager danger class. Bad juju for sure. |

My reaction kinda went like this:
Ehh.... Nothing really wrong here... I mean, this is a pretty standard drill and as long as you make sure everyone is abreast of each other and your trainers are controlling movement and OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCK STOP BEFORE YOU GET SOMEBODY KILLED YOU DUMB MOTHER FUCKERS JESUS CHRIST IT JUST KEEPS GETTING WORSE!!!!!!!" |
|
Dude in a wheelchair still trying to train; badass. Great initiative, bad judgment on the whole "try it on gravel during a live fire exercise." If you're in a wheelchair, shooting and moving is pretty much out of the equation.
And...What the fuck else is going on in that video? Damnit, the Yeagermeister strikes again.

That was me as well. "oh, ffs, arfcom complains about everything. So what if it isn't a perfect line? Looks fine to me. Wait, surely they aren't going to let the guy in the wheelchair fire from THERE. Holy shit.. Never fucking mind" |
