French onion, made from 16oz of sour cream, mixed with 1 packet of lipton onion soup mix, and left to sit overnight.
And I prefer the reduced fat Ruffles. The regular ones just taste too greasy for me. ETA. Beaten by 19 seconds. If only I hadn't mentioned chips! |

24 oz sour cream
1 package bacon, your favorite kind. Crumble it up. Mix in sour cream. Shredded cheddar cheese. Finely shredded works well, sharper is better so you can taste it, mild is just there and you won't really taste it. Get a 16 oz bag and mix in however much you want. Chives. However much you want. Cut with scissors rather than trying to chop with a knife, much easier to do a bunch at once. If you need to loosen the dip, it will be pretty thick, you can mix in just a little bit of milk at a time. Not much needed but it does help, this stuff will be pretty thick. Sit over night and it tastes even better the next day. Some kind of kettle cooked is a good dipping chip otherwise something with ruffles. You need a chip with strength. |
