I use a little Netbook that sits on a TV table infont of my spot on the couch so I can surf ARFCOM while watching the 46 inch LCDTV. That or I set it on my chest while laying back in the prone position.
How do ya'll surf ARFCOM? |

I have a PII 450 with RF keyboard and pistol style mouse dohickey, so I'm not tethered. 22" HP monitor sitting on the coffee table offset from my 42" LCD3 Sony. I just got a HD DVR and have it running into the Sony and also the monitor, so I can watch HD TV on the Sony or the HP, if I'm just fiddling around. The Sony has a 100w lamp, so I try not to put too many miles on it, if I don't have to. Chris |

I have a "special" chair in the kitchen that doesn't aggravate my hip/knee arthritis (injury related) so that's where I hang out. |

Right now, in major reorganization.
There's the den with three towers (full, mid, and mini), two of them linked together to a common keyboard, mouse, monitor; various external hard drives, cable modem, wireless unit, printer, all that stuff.......................... .......................and rather unreachable since the den has been the dumping ground for everything. I went in there today to work on a DVR and I think it was the first time I'd been there in days if not a week. Gateway laptop has been the main computer for about 2 or 3 years. Thank God for wireless! ________________________________________ ("Well, someone has to go out there, take a portable terminal, patch into the uplink antennae, and get the other dropshop down here!"––Ripley, (w,stte), "Aliens") |

Usually I use my desktop in the spare bedroom. It's sort of an all-purpose machine, set up on an old piece of counter-top for a desk. I have my audio gear off to one side, Mixer/Interface, PODxt, etc. Dual monitors, 24" main, 19" off to the side. For Arfcom/Games/Audio Recording, it's what I usually am working on. I have a HP Mini that I use if I'm downstairs in front of the TV, or away from the house.
