I get phone calls, a lot...along with walkins...with folks asking me 'What does Medicare cover as far as hearing aids?"  And I answer them truthfully.  Medicare does not cover hearing aids unless a doctor links the hearing loss to an accident, etc.  And I keep getting told that I'm a liar, and that my competitor says they do cover them.  I've gone to the website of medicare, many times....no...it does not cover hearing aids except in very narrow parameters.  Medicaid sometimes does, depending on the state.

I've heard, from folks that bought from my competor, that Medicare covered X% of the purchase...and it is a lie.

They're told that normally the hearing aids are 8, 9, 10, 12k a pair but, they only have to pay 40-50% since Medicare covers the rest.

I have always figured that karma would get them...in five years, it hasn't.   I don't think they are actually billing Medicare, just using it for a bogus discount...to clinch the sale.  Unethical as hell...and I am not sure how to counter it.

Sorry if I'm rambling.

They must be the same people getting in my way at Costco eating all the free shit food samples.

Hoverounds don't cost them one cent.

Why should hearing aids?
