| When I was in the army, everyone talks about getting the "Dear John" letter. I never did. I have been out of the army now for 2 years. I was talking with my wife (of 7 years) and she let it slip that while I was gone, that someone had tried to rape her. She was at Bowling night and was drunk, she stayed at her friends (female) house, and passed out, when see came too there was a guy going down on her, with his pants off. She know that is all that happened. Now she tells me all of this. I asked her why did she not tell me this when it happened and she said she was afraid I would come home and take care of him (the way he needs to be). What would you guys handle this. The guy is the brother of her ex best friend. |

Be supportive, ask her what she wants to do and if she wants to go to the cops. Don't force her to do it if she doesn't want to. Then, later, after everything has died down and you've both put it behind you...the COC forbids me from saying what I would do at that point. |
