I had a Johnny Horton album when I was a little kid that I nearly wore out.  I didn't even know what the Bismarck was, but I loved that song.

IIRC, it WAS -40 during spring in Fairbanks this year.  Really cold and long winter this year.

We just went down south on vacation, and it is a good thing the trees are starting to bloom or She would head right back down south.

Glad to know I am not the only person under 60 who still listens to Johnny Horton.  It drives wifey nuts on road trips.
