IIRC, it WAS -40 during spring in Fairbanks this year. Really cold and long winter this year. We just went down south on vacation, and it is a good thing the trees are starting to bloom or She would head right back down south. I went to Fairbanks the second week of March and I saw -25 a couple of times. Mid 70's when I left yesterday. |

Last time I was there during the winter it was a heat wave- between -10 and about 4 most of the time. |
