I just took my son to see Horton hears a who and at the end the leader( a kangaroo) rile up a mob of animals to arrest another animal and torture him or something. Any way someone in the mob says "We must do it for the Children" I thought was funny because I hear the term thrown around here from time to time in sarcasm. |
I usually here it from politicians and pundits of tax increases. Maybe it's just me, but if they were really that concerned with the children they'd fund their programs first and come up short elsewhere. I guess it'd be too hard to get the voters to OK a tax increase for officials to take junkets to South America or wherever.
