Which Console? > General Discussion

I have had a small thought in my head to pick up a console to play though the winter, I am only playing shooting games on it, Which one will be better for this A PS3 or a 360?

360 by far. Buy mw2 and be done with it. I love mw2 and play all the time.

I just bought a PS3 about 2 weeks ago. I already beat MW2 and BC2. Duke Nukem is a POS...

I am going to get MW3 and BC3 when they come out in the next few weeks.

for sure.

There are a lot of great multi-console games coming out now, but beyond that, the x-box will serve you very well.

Get the 360 with Kinekt with 4GB of memory for $299. Then get a third party 250 gb drive from Amazon for about $40. There are more Kinekt enabled titles coming out that aren't just dance or kids games.

OK one thing I forgot to ask is, I have dual monitors on my Desktop dual 22" How could I hook a Xbox up to one of them I can switch the input to others on the monitor, that I can figure out, I can't figure out how to get the sound hooked up

I have a 360 and a PS3. I think the PS3 is infinitely superior. The only redeeming value the 360 has is Left4Dead.

Not sure if they fixed the overheating issue on the newest production, but that's what mine did.

Decent game I like playing campaign with a buddy. My main reason for loving mw2 is my best friend who basically lived with me in the summer and we worked together. We party up and rape on MW2. I took my gf to the beach this weekend and can't play so hes giving me shit about it. I love live though its great technology. I play with guys from Wi, and NV quite a bit.

PS3. Free online play, does far more than just a game system. It's also a really nice blue ray player and I can play media of all kinds on it from my computer over wireless network. I've had both and sold my xbox due to lack of use.
