I need something nice for everyday wear. I've narrowed my choices to the following but can't make up my mind. No pole, just a discussion on which one and why. Price is irrelevant as they are all going to be in the same ballpark give or take a couple.
Because this is GD, lets get the following nonsense out of the way in the OP: 1. Yes, Submariners are nice. I already have one but I no longer wear it because a. I'm not a scuba diver and b. in California at least, every guy that wears rear pocket flap jeans, has a fake tan and a flip up hair cut, and owns the complete seasons of Jersey Shore and a credit card has one. I believe it's now standard issue bait for single girls at the gym or something. It's just not really as unique as it was when I bought mine the best part of 20 years ago. 2. It's really not that good of a watch and a 90 dollar Seiko will be more accurate and let you spend the other 6 thousand bucks on ammo and guns. Not a concern of mine. I'll get both. 3. I don't want gold and diamonds or a model in the luxury line. I'm an average dude, not a New Orleans pimp. 
4. Yes, I have a small penis and very little muscular definition, hence I need a fancy watch to compensate. (Hey, someone was going to say it, might as well be me  )
5. I don't want a copy of a Rolex case and band with a different face, movement, and hand design a'la Omega (and a hundred others). Great watches, but I'm brand loyal for better or worse. I also do not want a tactical watch, 5 pound model the size of a compact car, or any other substitute. 6. What kind of jackass spends that much money on a watch? In a word? Me.
Now, on to my potential choices, the "working" Rolex models I guess. The first Air King is bigger for no particular reason, I'm too lazy to crop it. Otherwise they are straight from Rolex's shitty 2013 collection web site. Air King w/white face

Although not an option it is close Rolex Datejust II 116334 used and in good condition is a deal
