Apparently it's a thing on youtube. I'm not sure wtf is going on, is it meant to be a sexually stimulating thing? Maybe it's because I have tinnitus, but I find myself cranking the volume and asking WAT?! All I hear is a whispering mumbler.
This being GD, I'm sure someone here is into this, so could you explain wat is up?

ASMR is a huge trend now, it's supposed to give you a tingling sensation down your spine are some crap I've seen videos of a guy cleaning his workboots, even if it is a real thing there are a ton of stupid videos that use the ASMR tag to get more views since it's the new hotness I hate that the mics pick up all the sounds the mouth makes, not the talking, but the saliva lip smacking sound. It seems really amplified probably because of how they have to play with the levels to hear the whispering. I've seen some otherwise good videos that were ruined by this crap |
