Just for the heck of it I typed "why did everyone hate Wesley Crusher so much?".

There were 44,000 hits.

Basically any of the smarmy know it alls who acted morally superior to everyone else. Specifically: Guinan, Data, Wesley, Chakotay and Tasha.

Worst was Worf’s kid who looked like Eddie Munster. I hummed the theme every time he came on.

Things I would have written into the various Star Trek spinoff series:

1) Wesley Crusher meets the "Salt Vampire" of M-113 from the original series.

2) Quinan gets ejected into space by Borg Picard as he says, "Bet you didn't see that coming."

3) Data gets replaced by the iPhone 1000.

4) Picard gets exposed to a virus that turns him into essentially Chewbacca.

5) #1 asks Picard to be excused from the bridge to go take a #2.

6) Quark gets drunk and thinks he's Vincent van Gogh then cuts an ear off.

7) Kim Kardashian plays herself as Kim Cardassian

Actually since they're space commies Troi's character makes sense...non-military person who has access to everywhere on the ship, a practically co-equal seat on the bridge, is involved in every decision/negotiation, and as "councilor" has records and files of everyone on the ship.

She's the ships freaking Political Officer/Commissar...

I don't really understand why anyone disliked Pulaski that much. Dr Crusher obviously looked better since she was younger, but her character was awful and the actress is a major leftist asshat. Watch any Star Trek panel video from a convention where she was on the panel and inevitably she gets political and rants about how women aren't treated fairly.

Ensign Travis on Enterprise was probably the most worthless, unneeded character in Star Trek.

Kes on Voyager was horrible as well.

Never watched DS9 past a few episodes cause it was a shit sandwich.
