Came here to post Riddick but got beat. There are so many and one of my favorite archetypes. Fairly subjective, though so some may not agree with some characters that are hard to define.
Wolverine/Logan has a long and storied history.  Sawyer from Lost.  Inquisitor Glotka in the First Law trilogy of books.  Omar from The Wire.  Mike from Breaking Bad.  |
