There was a dude years ago that would set up his kit in a tunnel that went under Friars road in San Diego near the stadium. Acoustics were awesome and sounded great.

Dunno, but I was stuck in a major jam on I-85 due to an accident and some guitar trio was on the shoulder doing their thing.  This was about 5 years ago and I still recall that they sounded pretty good.  It was weird to see but if it works for them then carry on dudes.
