Their website IS pretty bad, their search function blows too... A lot of stuff that has nothing to do with what you are searching for.

Every time a company has technical debt like that you can bet the farm they will have other internal issues that will, at best, cost them some profit margin and at worst put user data at risk. It's a guarantee.

Brownells is the last place I look for stuff.. The site sucks, It's a gamble if things are actually in stock, AND shipping processing takes 3x longer than their competitors.......

OK WAIT.... OPTICS PLANET is the last place, Brownells is the second to last place I shop.

The marketing department is probably in charge of the website. My company has the same problem, the marketing department thinks they know technical things but they really don't.  It looks like a high school kids website from 1995.

I thought it was just me.

Navigating Brownells website is like strolling through Sears circa-2019. Who is this for? Why do people choose this over the alternatives? Granted Brownells does have a few things you can’t get anywhere, and I order from them occasionally for that reason, but the whole experience feels like something from a prior era.

The mobile site sucks. Desktop works okay. I order from them a lot between having a discount and paying for Edge. For a while the desktop version would glitch out when checking out but that seems to be fixed. I saw they had a job listing for a website programmer. I'm going to take a guess say there is a reason for that

Ooopsie. My bad. Seems the said shit that was listed as out of stock just shipped!

They really need to get their shit together.

I think I’ve got every catalog going back to the early nineties.

Was very frustrated by this site today, on desktop.

Was trying to find a threaded barrel for a popular pistol.

Entered some things to narrow down the search. But holy shit tiny fonts.

"Narrow by" filters that are completely irrelevant.

Why can't I just type it into the search....?

Searched "threaded barrel 9mm wesson" and got 58 items including lots of glock stuff. With OUT OF STOCK stuff commingled at the top. :(

Brownells paid good money for their website in 1998.  If it ain't fixed, don't break it.

Contrarily PA has really improved their site's operation after being a frequent target of comedy for some time..

Osage is a business I really like and recommend, but who's site function is absolute ass.

I think the last time I ordered from Brownells was 2019. Not sure why, maybe it's the difficulty in finding the shit I want to buy on their site, maybe it's that they seem to think $390 for a case of 9mm FMJ is such a great deal that they need to email me about it twice a day.
