Why do women always have headaches?
|
|
Well, I have never used that as an excuse not to have sex, contrary to what TheCanuck says. I only ever have headaches when I am stressed, pms'ing, or really tired. Usually a headache is a sign that you are sick or about to become sick or you have experience some sort of trauma in your life recently. YMMV and whatnot. ETA: I need to learn to spell. |

Because like most dudes you don't understand that in a free market economy anything given away for free is essentially worth nothing. Seriously dude, people don't want perfection they want improvement, make her work for it. Tell her "No, I'm not in the mood" a few times.....
Of course all this assumes that reaper-love is worth working for. |

i dont get headaches very often––if i say i have a headache, i have one
i dont lie to avoid sex, though sp1grrrrrrl's answer made me laugh and is kinda truthful i do know a lot of women who complain regularly about "migraines," which i have never suffered from |
|
Lessee, why do women get headaches... Same reasons men get headaches, and add PMS to that. Weather fronts, stopped up heads from allergies, sinus trouble, stress, neck strain, eye fatigue, working in a loud environment, noise with no ear protection, migraines, and brain tumors to name a few. Never used it as an excuse. Though a whiney husband might give me a headache. It could happen. I never had migraines EVER until about a year ago. I've had two in the past year. Not fun. I believe those were stress-induced. I don't know many women who ALWAYS have headaches. If you ALWAYS have a headache, you need to go to the doctor. kitties |

Quoted: Because 'not tonight' ends up with whining and complaining. So trueSeriously though - I have migraines alot. 3 in the last 6 months, if she really is susceptible to headaches give her a break. Dizzy, nauseous and what feels like a spike through the back of your head would you want anything to do with anyone? Or stop giving her extra headaches to start with. I don't make it up if I have one - so not an "excuse" |
|
I get them a lot from weather, allergies and stress. Not so much lately but being preggers never helps. Hopefully in a few months I will be back to normal.. ETA: It's not an excuse until I am nauseated from it.. |

For a regular headache I frequently try to get a little one on one time from the spouse. Nothing gets rid of a regular headache better. Sadly, a migraine requires drugs, quiet, and a dark room for a couple of hours. |
I never get them, unless I'm dehydrated (i drink a lot of coffee... not so much water )... so I couldn't tell ya. Here are some things you can use to diagnose this problem:
1) does she have long hair? 2) Does she drink plenty of water? 3) do you talk a lot in a high-pitched nasal tone? |

| I personally have never used the headache excuse to get out of sex, I can never get enough of my husband he's so cute. I used to get headaches on a weekly for years until I figured out that is was being caused by my anemia. As long as I take my iron supplements regularly I am good to go. I have always thought they were caused by a chemical imbalance in the body in some way or another. |
So true
