I don't understand all the worry about whether carrying a certain kind of bag, wearing a certain type of shoes, getting a manicure or pedicure, having knowledge about certain things, appreciating art, setting your table with more than the bare necessities, driving a certain model car, etc, "makes you gay." Unless you're getting rogered by another guy while doing any of the above, I'd say "No, it doesn't make you gay."

On the other hand, the hand-wringing and self doubt all but screams .

If you don't watch out for the gay it can sneak up from behind and pound you in the ass.

Why all the obsessing about others obsessions?

Strike a secret, way back in camp, nerve?

Pedicures are, at least in my part of the world, considered to be effeminate.

It's kinda funny.  A lot of guys here profess to be rugged individualists, but they can't accept anyone who is different.   Go figure....

male 1 obsessing about what the rest of the males think about him and his fashion choices = total gay

If you were straight why would you care if other people think your shoes make you look sexy or repulsive, cool or idiotic?

I personally don't care what you wear, what you do, or if you're hoisting the pink flag with your built in flagpole - it's your life to live. Just don't tell me what to do or think either and we'll get along fine.
