Is eating a chore for you? Do you just consume protein and carbs to keep your body alive? OR Do look forward to mealtime as an adventure. Each day brings a world of experiences to your palate. To you, food is a form of art and is meant to be savored and enjoyed. Myself, I love food and eating it. Nothing like biting into a hot taco or savoring the flavor of ripe cantelope. |

I eat for both reasons. Eating good food is very enjoyable. BBQ is my favorite! There are times when eating BBQ is not practical, that's when a Powerbar comes into play. During Ops, something that fits in a pocket is about all you can hope for. Cheesecake and Key Lime pie are the foods I crave the most solely for flavor. |
| I can't vote because I eat for both reasons. Sometime I eat just to survive other times I eat because I'm in the mood for something and want to enjoy it. I'm not a picky eater, I like most kind of food and will try almost anything once. I love crawdads and Cajun food, Italian, German, English(fish n' chips) southern cooking, Chineese food, just about any kind of food you can name. If it's not too far our(like brains, I'm not a zombie) I'll give it a try. |
Yeah, ME TOO!!!!! |
Well, I currently average 4-5 hours a night of sleep and maybe 2 small meals a day. SGatr15 |

He's trying to keep it clean back there for his "life-partner". |
Once a day. Break fast was a banana. Lunch was a small sandwich and dinner will probably be a salad with a 1 piece of chicken or 2oz of beef, if I have it at all. It gets hot here in Cali and food just weights me down. I have been to Gunstock, I was one of the few under 250lbs, so I am pretty sure my diet is just fine Sgatr15 |
are you trying to say you're a skinny-ass? i never eat breakfast...like you said, i think it slows me down (NM isn't the coolest of climates in the summertime ya know). i always eat a healthy lunch and dinner, though. i've been hanging around the 210 mark for the past 3 years or so. it's not how much you eat... it's how active you are. you seem pretty active with all the woodworking stuff. i guess i just can't comprehend how a person can not enjoy food. |
Yup! I remember watching the movie Soylent Green for the first time and how everyone was appaled at the end....I just sat there thinking what a great idea it was. But that's just me...... Sgatr15 |
