I am getting a Wii for Christmas, I know the Xbox 360and the PS3 are cooler and have better games. However, this is a family gift, wife little kids extra. So, what are some decent games for the Wii, shooting, zombies ect.

Get the sport ones, they will give you a decent work out for sure. Youll spend a fortune on the accessories, like the steering wheel, guns, etc etc.

House of the Dead, and Resident Evil are shooter zombie games. I like Zelda: Twilight Princess a lot.

We like the Rayam Rabbids series for a game that the kids can play that adults will get something out of.

I just spent the past 2 hours hunting with the Cabela's 2010 game. Lots of fun and some frustration.
Also, the Wii Resort is cool, with archery, bowling, and golfing being my favorites.

Resident Evil 4 is the best shooter on Wii. But do yourself a favor and get Wii Resort. Its probably the best disc they make for the Wii if you have more than one person to play that is.

If you like RPG games, similar to Final Fantasy, Assassin's Creed, etc... then you should get Zelda: Twilight Princess. It has a good amount of challenges on the game. =)

If you like pinball games, the Williams Classics pinball game is the best entertainment value EVER. My wife and I picked up the game for $20 or so over a year ago, and we play it all the time!!
