So the wife tells me she's getting the Wii fit+console bundle off Amazon and I have some questions.
Are the controllers rechargeable? Do they take batteries? Do I need a charging dock? Are all guns (crossbow, pistol, and rifle) compatible for all shooting games? Are there any other must haves (either to complete the system's operations or just stuff that is really cool)? |

They take batteries, but I believe they make rechargeables Guns-no i dont believe so Get Mario Party 8, and have fun with a group of people... its very simple, and pretty stupid, but with a group of friends, it can be fun) |

Here's lesson learned for WiiFit.
The platform must be on a hard surface. They give you some pads to put under the feet if you use it on carpet. They don't work. The spongy rubber padding beneath the carpet throws of the proper response of the platform. It's like adding four springs into the system that shouldn't be there. I have a small plywood base that mine sits on. What a difference that makes! |

It depends on what kind of "shooting" games you are talking about.
All the light gun games use the wii-mote as a "gun" of sorts. The wii "guns" you see for sale are just shells that the wii-mote sits in. I recommend the Nyko Perfect Shot, as it's cheap & awesome. If you are talking about FPS I would imagine they use the wii-mote + nun-chuck. |
