I have an A2 upper and for me the best set up is to have the scope on top of the handle.

What I need to know is if I get 2 mounts, one for my BSA red dot and one for a full size scope will they stay true if I trade one for the other from time to time?

Fill bad?

The short answer to your question is, no.

The long answer is, depends on scope quality, type of mount used, consistent positioning on the carry handle, etc., etc., etc.

You wanted an answer, you got one.

Anytime you dismount a scope you are going to affect the zero. That's life, if you don't like it, get a dedicated flat-top upper for use with the telescope and leave the BSA abomination on the A2.

try one of these... They work with just about any of the dot scopes out there (but I made them for the OKO)
