| What happens if I continue to use XP? Will info. such as passwords and money acct`s. be stolen? Thanks |

Microsoft stops updating it.
Security holes will be found and exploited, but never patched. In time, it becomes a gamble really. Nothing may very well happen, but it sort of becomes a hackers paradise, as I understand it. Other's who have been in the field far longer than I will be along to better explain I'm sure |

It is going to be interesting since XP still has 25% of the market. Whole internet could end up affected by it with that large of a number of unpatched PCs. We could end up with widespread viruses, DDoS attacks, etc. If I were Microsoft I would just render the IP stack inoperable at End of Life. |

Thanks If you are just surfing the net and reading email you will be safe on XP if you run as a limited user, use Google Chrome instead of IE and keep your anti-virus software up to date. If you are doing any Online Banking you really should get a new computer. |
